Mattawa & Chalk River Railway

After lots of reading and time to think about what I wanted out of a model railroad, I've developed a plan and story line for my railway which I have named the "Mattawa & Chalk River". It will be a shelf layout as previously planned, but will not facilitate continuous loop operation. The room dimensions are approx. 10ft x 14ft, the two 14ft walls and one 10ft wall will be used to make a large "U" shape.

Track plan has NOT be defined at this point. I still have work to do on planning for inbound/outbound freight from each location, but I believe this will be an attainable layout with some decent amount of operational potential!
